I am a young 68 plus woman who has been getting my hair styled Since my mother would take me back in the 1960’s downtown Boston. When I walked into Sacarrha Salon today, I instantly felt the warmth of the elegant yet inviting foyer, where I was greeted by a smiling receptionist, who gave me a nice tour of their generous Coffee, tea, water, area and their beautiful boutique, that was filled with very fairly priced inventory. Heather came down and got me and we went upstairs to another floor of beautifully decorated styling stations. We discussed my hair, and I felt very confident that I was in good hands. I could see as soon as she was cutting it that there was a difference. It is amazing how you can meet someone and you know that they are the right person. It was so obvious that she loves what she is doing… my hair looks fantastic and she knew exactly what I wanted. That is rare and amazing!

Due to medical reasons I had not even had my hair cut for 2yrs professionally on top of that I was using box color during this time so I was a challenge for the most experienced stylist. McKenzie was incredible. She kept it real, listened intently and explained everything along the way. After 3 hours of working her magic my hair is healthy and beautiful once again exceeding my expectations. She was a complete delight ;) ... I will definitely be back!

I had long box colored hair, dry, damaged, a complete mess. My Aunt has been traveling from Franklin, MA just to go to this salon. So after visiting the salon with my Aunt, as well as the wicked cool boutique, I figured give it a shot. Of course, I went for the Big Guns"; Heather C and I was NOT disappointed. She explained the coloring process of correcting my head of "hay" and it came out beautifully, soft and touchable, no tangles, just amazing. I dropped off about 6 inches and the cut is fabulous. I highly recommend these stylist, well trained and professional. The services are many, eyelashes, brows, color, blowouts, events, nails, makeup, trinkets and the boutique, can't say enough and the place is HUGE!! Give it a try, you'll love it!

I never usually write reviews- and up until this point, I can honestly say that I’ve never really left a salon feeling completely satisfied with the way my hair came out. I’ve been to about 5 different salons for balayages in the last couple years- and EVERY time I wasn’t overly impressed with the results and ALWAYS felt like it wasn’t what I had wanted/asked for. However- I’m so happy I found Sacarrha Salon because for the FIRST time I was 1000% satisfied with my balayage! I felt like I was actually listened to & every attempt was made to make my hair exactly how I had asked for it.. Unlike other salons where they rush you through & then end up making your hair look how they think it should look- they took their time making sure it was exactly how I wanted it and that I was happy with it the entire way. Not to mention it actually took about 5hrs because I came in with my hair a complete disaster from a balayage gone wrong- and for me to leave sacarraha as happy as I was with the end result says a lot.. considering the amount of work that had to be done to fix it… oh and one last thing!! Their prices are BETTER than most salons especially for the service and friendliness/professionalism that you get here!! Deff will be back

I've always been very weary of Salons so before going for my first visit ever to one I did my due diligence and read reviews, looked at current photos and read every inch of each salons credentials! Sacarrha was my Pick, and boy am I glad! They have a very talented staff from credited schooling backgrounds like Toni & Guy and are constantly attending expo's for continuing education and staying upto date with the current trends. Naturally I was nervous going on being my first time stepping foot in a salon in 38years but my stylist Mikayla was welcoming and talked me through the process of what I want, she never once rushed me or her process and I felt at home. The salon is Georgous and very clean, and it's not just one particular stylist that's better then the rest! From what I saw and I was there for a three hour appointment due to my long thick hair..lol..the other girls turned out Beautiful hair colors, styles, and had all happy customers on their way out. Love My Hair! I've always been very weary of Salons so before going for my first visit ever to one I did my due diligence and read reviews, looked at current photos and read every inch of each salons credentials! Sacarrha was my Pick, and boy am I glad! They have a very talented staff from credited schooling backgrounds like Toni & Guy and are constantly attending expo's for continuing education and staying upto date with the current trends. Naturally I was nervous going on being my first time stepping foot in a salon in 38years but my stylist Mikayla was welcoming and talked me through the process of what I want, she never once rushed me or her process and I felt at home. The salon is Georgous and very clean, and it's not just one particular stylist that's better then the rest! From what I saw and I was there for a three hour appointment due to my long thick hair..lol..the other girls turned out Beautiful hair colors, styles, and had all happy customers on their way out. They provided pastries and drinks. We felt very comfortable and relaxed as we got ready. I loved Mikalia’s work so much that I recently went back for a drastic haircut (~8 inches). I’m so happy with how it came out. I had the absolute best experience at this salon! My colorist Mikalia was very knowledgeable and taught me so many things about my hair that I’m going to implement in my daily routine. I got a balayage and was super nervous since I haven’t had my hair colored in a long time but she made me feel comfortable every step of the way by explaining everything and taking the first 15 minutes to make sure we were on the same page as to what I want my end result to be. My results were more than I was hoping for, I feel so confident and I am so obsessed with my new hair!

If I could give more than five stars I would!!!!! My daughter was getting married in three days and my former salon of 17 years needed to switch my appointment because my stylist went out on a medical leave! I, reluctantly, agreed. I gave my daughter my appointment and rescheduled mine. Then...OMG I was only five minutes away and they CANCELLED my appointment! I was devastated! How was I going to get my hair colored, highlighted & cut three days prior to my daughter's big day?? My husband told me to look online! Fortunately, I found Sacarrha! With 4.7 STARS! I was quickly scheduled with Mckalah! The very same day!! I walked into the salon and was so impressed with the decor! The salon was clean and organized and ALL the staff I had a pleasure to meet/run into was full of smiles! Including the owner! The gals were professional, friendly and very accommodating! What a dream! I was even able to have my nails and toes done! Then, to top it all off, Mckalah gave me the most beautiful set of eyelashes! I received so many compliments the day of the wedding! McKalah did such a marvelous job! My nail gal (please forgive me for forgetting her name) was sweet as honey! I have ALREADY set up my following hair, nails & eyelash appointments! I HIGHLY recommend Sacarrha Salon to everyone and have suggested my friends go there as well!

I tried this salon for the first time today and was extremely satisfied with the salon and the service! I had emailed the salon via Yelp in the early morning and had a response within an hour (I assumed I would not here back until the salon actually opened!) it turned out they had a spot available with Makalia who specializes in color and highlights! I immediately took the 1 PM appointment and am so glad I did!!! I hadn't cut or colored my hair in over 3 years! I finally feel like I have some style again! The cut makes me look younger and vibrant and boy have I needed that lately! Ha! The salon was clean, the staff friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing. I would certainly recommend this salon and especially Mikalia if you are looking for gorgeous hair at reasonable pricing.

She took her time and explained everything to me making the entire experience wonderful. The staff are all super friendly and the salad itself is beautiful. I had done a blonde balayage twice already in the last two months and I am pleased to say Danielle had done the best job and was the most accurate to my picture. She went as light as she could trying not to damage my hair which is extremely considerate of her. She also put a treatment in my hair as well. She was extremely accurate with her estimated price which is always helpful because no one likes surprise twists at the end of the appointment.

The work was very good, each staff member taking the time as if we were the only customers they had although the salon was busy. My daughter had her cut today(Friday) by Emily. She did an amazing job cutting my daughter's hair. The interaction in the beginning of our visit felt warm and kind as I explained just what I'd like for my daughter's hair. Emily seems down to earth and naturally just a nice person, easy to talk with and genuine. I appreciated that. I wasn't able to actually sit right next to my daughter, so I was about 15, maybe 20 feet from her. I would've liked to have been closer by to spend the time with my daughter during our time here as opposed to sitting half way across the room watching..and not able to engage in any conversation. As I sat alone I wasn't offered a magazine or a drink by anyone, even though staff was walking by me constantly. Not that I would ask to be waited on, It would've been just as polite if a staff member might've told me that if I wanted a drink, I could serve myself etc. I do understand getting your haircut successfully is what matters the most when you see your stylist, however it's also the acknowledgement and atmosphere which can add to the overall experience of visiting and continuing to revisit the salon.

I lost my previous nail tech for suddenly and I had to remove my acrylic nails myself - my nail beds looked horrible. Poor Emily had to deal with me but right away she was pointing out all my trouble areas and assured me i was in good hands. Good hands are not the word,,, Fantastic hands! I've experienced a lot of hair pulling at other salons, but my trip to this salon was really pleasant! I'm not a huge fan of putting product into my hair and was pleased that Emily asked me before applying any products. I will definitely be coming back.

What a great group of ladies I met today! The receptionist was so friendly, and welcoming! Cara gave me a beautiful Shellac Mani, and was so fun to talk to! Heather gave me gorgeous color, a great cut, and then a painless brow wax! I could not be happier!

I really love everything about the salon. I always get the style I want and feel great when I leave. The salon is really clean, the products are the best and are not harsh and, most of all I do not have to wait when I arrive for my scheduled appointment. I have been to other salons in the past where I had to wait sometimes an hour before my stylist would take me-even with an appointment! Overall it was a great experience, from service to style. Very nice waiting area and friendly staff. I love my hair. I also love how the sink is right under the table, whereas at other salons, you have to get up to go wash your hair. The ONLY thing i wish that my stylist could have done differently was to put a nozzle on the blowdryer but it's really not a big deal. That's all! I definitely will be returning and referring! Thank you!
